My bubble has been well and truly burst so I am talking to everyone who may be having a bit of a tough time at the moment. However, that may look!
As always there are pros and cons to these events, but like many others, I wasn’t expecting a silly prick to come along and burst it, but here we are
I have had a meeting today with my VA as we need to organise my socials for the next couple of weeks and I have returned to writing blogs. I do love writing I just don’t always make time for it. (Tip number one, make time for things that are important to YOU)
Last night in VIP we had session 2 of my 6 months of Mindset training. I have been working on self-development and mindset for the past 8 odd years and I thought it was high time to start passing that knowledge on.
The topic of last night was journaling. The art of writing down your thoughts and fears. It was meant to be divided into two parts, mental health and manifesting. However, the mental health part dominated the chat almost entirely. Not just from me, but the others added their stories too and it was, all in all, a really bloody good session!
I personally have known of and used journaling on and off for years. You can do a basic daily gratitude journal or you can get every single ounce of crap in your brain out on paper so you can see it clearly and work through it. I have been doing the latter. It helps. Some days there’s loads, some days there’s just a little.
I have added some tips here for you if you want to start the process of clearing your brain clutter. Get it out of your head and work through it. Everyone has hard times and difficult moments. It really is how you choose to move through it.
I’m working with a mind coach at the moment, which is something I keep saying to everyone! Get a bloody therapist or just a coach in any area you feel you are lacking knowledge.
Why waste time struggling to get to the next step when you can do it much faster and cheaper by tapping into someone else’s brainpower and training? Beats me!
Anyway, grab a nice posh book or a scrap of paper and get scribbling.
1. Pen and paper or app it doesn’t matter how you do it as long as you do it daily to get into the swing of it
2. There is no perfect way of doing it, just whatever works for you
3. If you get stuck or nothing you want to create or release, then just write a gratitude journal instead
4. Try different ways. Write a letter, do a brainstorm, write a list, write down all the reasons you love someone – or hate them in that moment. Do whatever feels good. Draw a picture instead of your happiest moments
5. Make it personal. No one will see it unless you share it, it is your thing to do
6. It should be fun and a release, not just another job to do, if it feels like a chore, don’t do it
7. Do it once a day or 20 times If you need to, it doesn’t matter
8. Look back after a week or two and see if it’s helping you. If so, carry on. If not, try something else
That’s just enough to get you started. VIP reopens in 2 weeks’ time so feel free to jump on the list to be notified. Link in bio, or just message and ask for it.
I’ll be posting once a week again on my website about all manner of topics so make sure you’re following me.
Also, thank you Mr. Smith for his wise words. Once you say you can that is your first step forward. Baby steps every day. You’ll be fine.
Much love!
